LORIOT and GREATECH Partner to Accelerate Global Hybrid LPWAN Infrastructure and Solutions

The strategic alliance combines market-leading network management with specialized hardware expertise to deliver versatile, dual-technology ecosystems for complex industrial and mobile applications.

LORIOT AG and GREATECH GmbH have entered a strategic partnership aimed at removing the complexity from international, heavy-duty industrial IoT deployments. By aligning GREATECH’s precision hardware engineering with LORIOT’s robust Network Management System, the two companies are providing a clear, frictionless path from physical device deployment to secure data delivery.

The German based manufacturer manages a robust international distribution network for its modules exporting widely across the European Union, South Africa, Argentina, and Brazil. Under this framework, LORIOT will provide the secure network management layer and related cloud services, while GREATECH delivers specialized, field-proven hardware engineering.

A core technical focus of the partnership is its forward-looking, hybrid network strategy. By combining both LoRaWAN® and mioty® solution capabilities, the partners offer an adaptable ecosystem capable of handling high device density, deep building penetration, and ultimate network redundancy. This dual-protocol flexibility ensures that industrial operations remain connected regardless of environmental or geographical constraints.
