  • Does the installation require extensive rewiring or structural changes?
    No. Most of our sensors utilize wireless LoRaWAN technology and are battery-powered, meaning they can be retrofitted into existing buildings without drilling or new cabling. This minimizes disruption to daily operations.
  • Is the data collected by the sensors secure and private?
    Absolutely. All data transmitted is encrypted end-to-end to ensure full compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR. Furthermore, for example for occupancy monitoring, we use PIR (Passive Infrared) or ToF (Time of Flight) sensors that detect presence without capturing identifiable images or video.
  • Can the system trigger real-time alerts for facility managers?
    Yes. You can set custom thresholds for any parameter (e.g., a water leak, high CO2 levels, or unauthorized access). When a threshold is met, the system sends an immediate notification via email, SMS, or your internal management dashboard.
  • How long do the sensor batteries typically last in a building environment?
    Depending on the frequency of data transmission, most sensors have a battery life ranging from 5 to 10 years, minimizing maintenance efforts. Our intelligent system also monitors battery health and will notify you well in advance when a replacement is needed.
  • How can I estimate the numbers of sensors needed for my building?
    Every project is different and the number of necessary sensors varies depending on the area needed to be covered, as well as requirements and needs of every project. From a technological perspective there is no restriction on the minimum or maximum number of sensors or area that can be covered.
  • How much does the solution cost?
    The solution is adaptable to various budgets and project sizes. A minor project in one department is as evenly possible as a site wide rollout. Pricing varies accordingly.
  • Can the solution be integrated with already existing systems?
    Yes, an integration in BIMs or other platforms is no problem and can be adapted to your needs.
  • What is the typical timeframe for the end-to-end implementation of the system?
    Our extensive global network enables us to set up your system in a fast and smooth manner. Minor projects can be set up in just a few weeks. Bigger projects can take a little longer, due to the increased communication and organization effort of various stakeholders.
  • Do we need to do the sensor maintenance ourselves?
    Depending on your needs we can also handle the continuous sensor maintenance after the initial installation of the system.
