Thalwil, Switzerland - January 8th, 2016 - LoRaWAN data streaming to the AWS platform is significantly simplified through the out-of-the-box integration with Loriot LoRaWAN platform.
Amazon IoT service is the last addition to the portfolio of export plugins that are available for all Loriot LoRaWAN network users.
The simplification introduced by Loriot is in the zero development effort needed to bring LoRaWAN data into the Amazon AWS environment. Once in AWS, the data can be treated agnostic to the LoRaWAN as any another JSON wrapped object.

The users can integrate LoRaWAN parallel to their existing device portfolio that might be using WiFi or cellular connectivity to access the Internet and the AWS platform." said Vit Prajzler, CEO of Loriot.
The Amazon AWS IoT platform can automate the machine-to-machine communication through the rules engine feature, which allows users to define actions, such as sending on/off commands, based on the incoming data.
Loriot users can now feed IoT data easily to Amazon DynamoDB or the S3 to store the data, or utilize one of the data processing services to get actionable insights from the data.
