IoT Technical Business Developer Use-Cases
Valencia (Spain) or Budapest (Hungary)

We are on the quest to find a new team member
who will take LORIOT products to the market and develop new business models,
while keeping the technical team aligned with the needs of the market.

Basic requirements rather standard

  • Engineering and/or sales background
  • Previous experience in telecommunication or utilities industry
  • Good overview of IoT technologies & platforms
  • Systematic, analytical thinking
  • Self-motivated personality, taking initiative
  • Sound understanding of software development processes
  • Experience with answering RFPs, RFQs, ...
  • Interested in elaborting uses cases and deal with our hardware partners

Technical skills and knowledge

  • LoRa & LoRaWAN
  • LTE-M, NB-IoT, SigFox, RPMA
  • Network and Systems knowledge
  • Amazon AWS, IBM Bluemix / Watson, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, ...
  • Demonstrable success in bringing innovative products to market
  • Good knowledge of IoT Hardware in the market

Who should you be apart from exceptional

  • Holder of (at least) a master's degree in Computer Science, Telecomunications, or related field, or have an equivalent (5+ years), demonstrable, relevant work experience
  • A completed MBA is an asset, or demonstrable business/sales track record
  • Combination of Technical and Business leader
  • Spirited, energetic, easy-going person
  • Interested in Internet of Things, telecommunication technologies, and technology in general
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written. Any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use

We expect you to do your best

  • Build up new Use-cases for LORIOT’s customers
  • Take LORIOT products to the market
  • Analyse and develop new business models
  • Lead customer discussions
  • Lead partnership program, maintain relationship with partners
  • Independently lead sales negotiations
  • Independently respond to RFPs and RFQs
  • Pre- and post-sales customer management
  • Personally engage with key clients
  • Convert customer feedback into change requests and feature suggestions
  • Participate in improving internal and external documentation
  • Work with quality assurance and operations team to assure customer satisfaction
  • Work with marketing team on defining marketing strategy and prepartion of marketing material
  • Professionally report to management
  • Represent LORIOT at trade shows and IoT events, run workshops
  • Be ready to travel
